Busy day working on the opening sequence for our feature film Gradation. Gearing up to start shooting actors soon. Sony A7S and Premiere Pro.
I love food where you can taste all the ingredients and has layers to it. The new expanded space at PHO 533 now has a sushi roll and cocktail bar. The sushi rolls had a nice bite to them and the fresh mango was a nice touch. The garlic fried chicken was the best batter and seasoning I'd had in a long time. And that includes my own lol. This wasn't about the PHO, there is no need to change that. It was a taste of what's to come this week when PHO 533 reopens!
Finally, after finishing Cascade Rd, cutting two demo reels, getting press kits ready on Withoutabox and Filmfreeway, I have room to get back into Gradation. The script is almost finished, but that is ever revolving. Especially on set where things and logistics change.
I am going to start by breaking the filming down to two or three locations. In reality, they might be shot at
the same place. It will be the major scenes with Lynne Newton and I. Faustina's apartment in Los Angeles, Lucrative's home in New York, The sushi restaurant and maybe our office scenes.
After that, I'm going to start shooting the supporting cast. Probably in November or December.
More to come...
Just revamped our e-commerce site which helps finance our movies. Check it out! Especially if you are an ESL (english as a second language) instructor. www.eslworksheetsandlessonplans.com Click pic below.
Been busy with getting press kits finished on Withoutabox and FilmFreeway. Now the hard part. which film festivals to submit to. I'll probably submit to free film fests that are close to home and spend some money on submissions to some of the more established festivals.
In addition, I'm setting up the Cascade Rd tab above as the Official Movie Site. I just have too many websites and Facebook pages to keep up with.
Since I'm paying for this site, I might as well use it for my films and our production company.
Thanks for stopping by!
